Report Features

Multi-Org Compliance

Every BBB Intelligence report is designed to be multi-org compatible, regardless of whether the report is run from the AOL Concurrent Manager or from the Oracle Reports designer. When a report is run from the AOL concurrent manager, the "SRW INIT" user exit is executed to activate the sharing of AOL libraries by the report as well as initialize the client info database parameter. This will restrict the views used in the report to access only the operating unit that corresponds to the Application Responsibility from which the report was submitted.

Multi-Currency Support

Every BBB Intelligence report displays currency values in the base currency. The base currency is the currency associated with the Set of Books for the given Operating Unit. Where space allows, reports will show the transaction currency code. Standard Oracle Application currency conversion mechanisms are employed to calculate and display formatted currency values on all reports.

Item Category Flexfield Support

Almost all the BBB reports display item categories for each record. Many of the reports provide a value by item category summary at the end of the report. For maximum reporting flexibility, the user may determine from which category set to derive the item's category value at the time of report submission. Some reports also provide a category range selection parameter, which enables the user to run the report for a range of categories and/or individual category segment values.

RA Territory Flexfield Support

Almost every report provides the user with the ability to run a report for a given territory, and displays the full flexfield value for each record on the report. Additionally, the EXPORT reports create a distinct column for each segment in the flexfield so that the values for each segment can easily and independently be sorted in the spreadsheet.

Export to Spreadsheet Support

All of the BBB Intelligence reports may be exported from the Oracle Applications report viewing browser to an Excel spreadsheet. However, to accommodate clean formatting and a lack of truncation, we have designed several of our reports specifically for EXPORT. They cannot be printed because their extended width would not fit on a single page.
